HOW
TO UNITE WITH THIS CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION
Adult Confirmation:
A series of adult
classes are periodically held for those interested in church
membership. Upon
completion of classes adults may unite with St. Joseph of Arimathea congregation as they join us in our confession of faith in the Gospel of
Jesus Christ. (Acts 14:22; Acts 15:32 & 41)
Reaffirmation:
Individuals who have
been confirmed in an Apostolic Church, but are not presently members
of a congregation, are received after a review of our church’s
order of instruction and their own confession of the baptismal
covenant God made with them in Jesus Christ.
Letter
of transfer:
Members
of apostolic churches are received as members of St. Joseph of
Arimathea Church when a letter of transfer is issued from their
former Priest, Deacon, or a Lay reader (who leads a congregation).
